Where are the products from?
Products vary with each issue of the pop-up shop.
In our last issue we were really excited to be back where it all started – in Japan! We brought you gorgeous things from the Kansai region, which includes the fabulous (and wildly different!) cities of Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe and Nara, along with so much more.

I want a pop-up shop for MY things!!
Great – get in touch! Our shop is a perfect online retail space for designers, artists, craftspeople, or anyone really. We are always looking for new collections and would love to see what you are doing.
The item I want just sold out! What do I do?
Take a deep breath, smile, and contact us! It may be possible to get hold of another one, if you let us know what you’re after. If we can’t get something for you, we’ll feel as awful as you do.
I can’t add things to my shopping cart! What should I do?
If there is only one item left in stock, it is possible that you and another customer might ‘reach’ for the same item at the same time… the system is first come, first served, and you won’t be able to add it to the cart if someone else does first.
It might be worth checking back a little later, in case the other person decides not to buy it!
Why don’t you stock more stuff?
Because we’re a pop-up shop! We select things in limited quantities and only sell them for a short time.
What currency are you using?
All prices (including postage) are displayed in Australian dollars, and billing will occur in that currency.
What are my payment options?
Our payment system is PayPal.
You can pay for items with your credit card or PayPal account, and it’s completely safe and secure!
So wait, do I HAVE to have a PayPal account?
No. Although PayPal will take you to what looks like a login screen, there will be a heading saying something like “Don’t have a PayPal account?” – follow this link and you can use your credit card without any further ado!
How does postage and packaging work?
Yuck, postage is the unfortunate extra expense! This issue, things will be flying to you all the way from Osaka, Japan.
Postage charges displayed apply to Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe and Asia. We ship to many countries worldwide, but not all. If your country is not on the list at the checkout, please contact us and we will do our best to arrange something for you.
Postage and packaging charges are based on weight and will be added on in addition to your purchases. Your shopping cart shows the postage payable for any order.
We use standard post office services, and delivery times will typically range from around 5 days to a few weeks, give or take. Insurance is not included – feel free to contact us if you’d like to discuss this.
Prior to ordering, please be aware of any customs restrictions your country might have.
In the interests of waste reduction and lower packaging charges, we will use the minimum possible wrapping and packaging materials.
Can I return something?
If a product is faulty or different to what you ordered, and has remained unused, contact us within 7 days and we can arrange a refund, replacement or store credit, depending on the situation. We’ll probably ask you for photographic or Skype-based evidence of the problem.
As we’re a fairly small operation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate returns if a customer simply changes their mind about something they bought.
What are you going to do with my personal information?
We’ll use your information to get your fabulous purchase to you, and that’s it.
We’re really serious about privacy and will not disclose your details to a third party.
We may use your email address to invite you to ‘like’ the six twelve eighteen page on Facebook, which we use for updates about our shop. Little notifications about the latest gorgeous things and the like. Of course no pressure!
